I graduated from The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design in 2009 with a BFA in illustration, going straight from college into a recession. I married my high school sweetheart and found myself in great need of stable income. I temporarily set aside my illustration degree for a graphic design job and soon learned to love the art of creative problem-solving through design.

I later found myself teaming up to help grow a startup creative agency from five to twenty-five employees and seeing annual revenues increase by 618%. I learned voraciously from my mentor and relentlessly eliminated unnecessary hang-ups that hindered epic, effective creative work.

Four kids later and 16 years into my art and design career, facing unprecedented cultural sea changes, I still believe that our God-given creativity will make a way.
